Why it exists
The distance between a process and its software has become too large.
A requirement is collected, documented, interpreted, developed and tested. When the result finally arrives, the process may already have changed.
Meanwhile, people compensate with spreadsheets, email and manual checks. The problem is not a lack of software. It is the time and friction required to shape software around the real organisation.
